My Dad died on 4 August of progressive supranuclear palsy. Its vey rare and mostly unheard of. His legs gave way one day, and he moved to resthome care for the next three years where his mobility declined slowly. Here is a video which shows what the disease is like.

I am still so sorry for the loss of your father 💙.
It must have been painful to see him face such a rare and little-known disease.
Thank you for sharing his story and the video: it is a valuable gesture to raise awareness of what you have been through. Hugs.
I am truly sorry for your loss and i pray that you & your family find comfort and peace. 🫂 Looking at this rare condition makes me feel even sadder as it must have been extremely painful for him to experience and for you to watch. May He rest in peace 🙏🏻
I’m so sorry. I watched the video. Heartbreaking. God bless you and your family🫂
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve not heard of PSP. Fiat money thinking (or Babylonian money magik) has been engraved into us for centuries. Bitcoin has only been around 16 years. I was at a family wedding yesterday. None of the elders had researched it, preferring to believe its used by criminals. They work as academics, medical professionals and in corporate. When I countered how many missiles have been bought with btc. I pissed a few off.
I should have said that Jamie Dimon now sells btc via his ETF’s. So you’ve missed out on 119% annual rate of return.
A few cousins did say they don’t know where to put their money and are looking to leave the UK. Many are going to find life difficult without bitcoin. At least your Dad can see you from heaven knowing you’re financially empowered forever 🧡21M
Thank you. Dad was very obedient to centralised health. Took stations and other prevention drugs. Avoided the sun, ate low fat etc. Like many early migrants, he and his folks were loyal to Labour for allowing them in for their entire lives. Never questioned anyrthibg. In the Resthome I talked to him about Bitcoin even though he was a bit in fairyland. Like many he died not truly understanding how fiat creates an immoral society. Hopefully bitcoiners will change that.
You’re the only Gujji I know of that, I assume, didn’t take the shots. I’m beginning to think it shows how much money and status means to this tribe. Absolutely100% sleeping on bitcoin. We’ll show the way with clean living and clean money 🙏🏽🧡
In memory of Dad...I will make a final post. Its about resthomes. Dad was in one for three years, and unlike the sale process, the reality is, it is not 'dying with dignity'. We often found him in a state of distress and unclean. We needed to have a lot of conversations with the staff and management, and one day "the shit hit the fan" so to speak. If you have a parent or loved one in home, be present. Short frequent visits keep the staff on their toes, so they are still worth it. It maybe where we will end up so its worth speaking up and raising their standards. Finally, I am glad he's free of the place, and really wish I could speak more highly of care home.
