Had to back up and punt this morning. Noticed yesterday evening that there had been a miscalculation made. The owners had made all the plans for this deck project themselves (the husband is a former contractor), so I’ve been going off of his plans for the next steps, all good no big deal. Well, we cut out a post because he was under the impression that our handrails were 8ft long..which they are…nominally….they’re 92” actual, 4” short…so now I’m grafting that post back in lol

Ahhh, the joys of listening to your customers.

Indeed. It leads to some pretty hilarious conversations sometimes. This dude also has some kind of engineering degree, but he’s also got a lazy streak 2 country miles wide, so he likes to talk…a lot…and kind of speaks his own language so I end up having to bump steer him…a lot lol
