Though, I've never ran it on MacOS myself. I've only recommended it to a couple users at work to run it so that they could access a Windows VM 🥹
Sorry I can't comment on anything mac specific but this list I feel is worth bookmarking as it's kept up to date and is useful to generally search providers, especially those that accept btc/lightning for payment.
