Yes, plus about ~2k for the plane ticket home with me from AU, including customs and pet transport fees. She's my little ride or die. I have always wanted a Sphynx, but traditionally adopted. She stole my heart the moment I saw her at eight weeks old—there was no question about it. I just needed to make it happen.
That’s a sweet story, pets are worth more than any monetary thing. Does her skin feel weird to pet with no fur?
Petting her is like petting suede or a velvet Elvis—it's not weird at all. I give her regular baths, and she sleeps in her bed next to my pillow every night, which is quite comforting. I'm all she's ever known. I've had many cats, but none like this. Sphynx are very doglike in their energy and companionship, though they are still very much cats. I am her human, and I am grateful to have her by my side. :)
A halfway decent mattress so I can sleep well and be more productive when I'm awake.
I do think good quality bedding is under appreciated.

And my wool coats. I didn't actually buy them, I inherited them, but they've been worn regularly for dozens of years and still look great.
