Here's a fun thing I vibe coded. A dashboard to control the nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyw8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctvqqsdt082hstrty5y9dstmrhq80j50n2gzl4kytr4jt3l53w6sycsvys5874gg
office thermostat. The thermostat is tied to a Canaan Avalon Mini 3.

Once a sat is paid to either invoice, nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7cnjvghxjme0qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcqyzjnd2cl0u7qzva64k7lgu4343adfdm5a4pjcxvf9pqex4e83z72qngxhfg
triggers a webhook on our nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kytcqypqkvlxunugw9ksdfl7z2san3u9dnwyfnehxj9vrdn576gl8plhrvr8dwmf. HA then increases or decreases the thermostat by 1°F depending on which was paid. Simple, nothing glamorous but super fun nonetheless.
I didn't have a use case for this functionality until nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7ct5d3shxtnwdaehgu3wd3skueqpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqgp60xxttgdsjmxslrgllkfl4l3sdkytyuc4n34trqlae6zychlm25zt77s4 approached me with the idea and got me thinking.
For example: My utility, Xcel Energy, has an opt-in program, which for a small yearly credit, they can limit your how low you can set your thermostat during high-demand periods in the summer.
You shouldn't do this IMO, but this functionality would be a way for them to pay the customer LIVE via lightning when needed instead of paying for control on an annual basis.
