Traditionally neurodivergent people were seen as having trouble interacting socially.
Picking up body language social cues etc.
Double empathy is saying that isnt correct that neutotypical people have the same isseus connecting to neurodivergents.
But a neurodivergent interacting with another neurodivergent will not have trouble interacting and picking up body language etc.

I have Synisthesia and he has dyscalculia.
The side effects of both are intense creativity. It was meant to be.

Synthasia (bad spelling) is when sensory inputs are swaped. People hear colours or see sound for eg.
Dyscalculia is the inability or struggle to understand numbers. I have that one badly with mild dyslexia and mild aspergers.
