one of the best meditation techniques is to curl up the tongue to touch the palate or the roof of mouth, teeth together, eyes half open. you literally would not see eye floaters even with eyes half open, as the sense of sight had been shut down, it's like when you you've been elevated, not the height, but like a sense of 'high' and when it hits you, you shouldn't get attached to the feeling as it can go away at anytime once the ego takes over
