Sure!

I have a dehydrator, but she could do the same in an oven**, max temp around 135-145°F. They need to be crunchy when cool. Store in an airtight jar, shake a couple times a day for about a week.

As long as they don’t stick/clump, or moisture develops in the jar they are good to powder or place in oil. Otherwise put back in dehydrator/oven for a few more hours and try again.

Pulverizing just means I will powder them with a blender to use when cooking (shelf stable). Putting them in oil, (not shelf stable) and storing in the refrigerator, mimics a sun dried tomato for recipes. I use olive oil.

** She might be able to reach the temp by simply turning the oven light on and keeping it on the duration.

I’d love to know her thoughts on it.
