Same reason why people like stuff like GoodFood. Laziness and high time preference. It would be more cost effective to just make it themselves

I lined up for this in London. I’ve never had strawberries like that in America. So good! Would get back in line again.

It must have been in season. I find that strawberries taste much better when they're in season.
