It's Facebook that's doing the blocking because they don't want to pay. Though, I also think the new laws in Canada over content are dumb too.

It seems like a law against taking photos of billboards or flyers. If the news publishes information pubiclly why is it illegal to even link to it? Its not the first time Canada has passed juvenile laws

I think this is a win-win.

On one hand, it will make people "wtf" and make our gov't corruption more obvious to the population.

On the other, Canadian news is mostly state propaganda and won't be shown on FB.
