Struggled with primal and damus all day. Couldnโt load replies, feeds and it was sloooooe.
I find when I donโt have 5Gb of good 4G the experience kinda sucks.

When on crap WiFi it also sucks.
Will this always be an issue coz Nostr is different internet infrastructure to centralised alternatives

Try reducing the number of relays you're connected to.

Nostr is currently quite data intensive, since clients are reaching out to multiple relays to get data all the time.
One of the benefits of some paid relays, such as nostr.wine, is that they do this for you, aggregating notes from various public relays, so your client doesn't have to reach out to all of them separately.

In that case, take a peek at the list of relays they are aggregating from, and broadcasting to. You do not need to have those relays in your relay list.

I found this, I removed a load of relays and that seemed to speed it up. No idea why bit it worked
Give nostr:npub1nz64zngcqm8vj8nhrdkcjpfwn2rcaqysnxec88tqfclp5afrpglsqm0w5y a try, I constantly switch between primal and amethyst.
I start my day with primal to look at the 24h trending list and when I'm done I switch to amethyst for the rest of the day for speed and performance.
