You are right, what I finished now was 82 hours of water fasting but something that I do otherwise is 18/6 method. Fasting for 18 hours and eating for a 6 hour period. I would recommend this to those who are curious about fasting because intermittent fasting is something most people would manage even though most people think it is a bit too extreme with a water fast that lasts for several days.

yes.. IF is pretty amazing. I do it almost every day. OMAD is also great. I did OMAD for like a month in the past. My water fasting record is only 36 hours 🤷. What was the reason you did 84 hours of it?

Curiosity is probably my biggest reason , I have a colleague who recently tested a three-day fast but she drank vegetarian broth so I was a little eager to test whether it was possible to do it on only water as I thought it was cheating to drink broth. What was most fun about this test was to see my colleagues' upset reactions that I passed it so easily and did not get any personality changes as they expected me to be grumpy and run out of energy. Had easily managed 4 days this time, but must read more about what is safe if I were to try a longer fast next time.

Bone broth is just a regular meal. That wasnt fasting at all! Bone broth is good when breaking the fast because it is low sugar and doesnt spike blood sugar or mess with insulin levels. I heard it is best to take minerals or quality salt when doing long fasts.. Have you noticed any change after the fast?

A good breakfast

I remember my colleague saying that if you drink too much water, you may need to take salt to correct the mineral balance in your body, but since I have a little too much at work, I rather forgot to drink. Have not noticed anything special but I do not really know what to look for, anything special you heard / read that I can expect or should keep an eye on?
