Genuine question, how do you know how many views you get on Nostr?

I don’t know. For my content I’d be surprised if the most shared ones get 1,000 views here.
I would say your nostr views will be part of your YT views since it's the link you share here, it's hard to assess views, even on Twitter you are just trusting what they say it's your views, maybe Nostr clients could improve that to try and give a sense of the number of views and clicks.
More work to be done indeed. Normies still don’t see the need enough, even with all the regulations being put in place (for instance in the EU).

The establishment probably want bitcoiners being self-quarantined on Nostr-only so that they can rig the elections and implement the U.N. Agenda 2030 without too much noise.
The problem of Nostr is that it will not reach significant cultural/societal impact in many years. What we say here does not have much of an audience - yet.

I get satisfaction from my craft because I put a lot of work into it. Sometimes the lack of views is saddening but I still take pride in my work.
So I guess It’s not about me getting value. I’m a creator and a journo. I want to create value for other people.
That’s the beauty about the protocol though; it’s a two way exchange I.e value for value.
We’ve been used to a one way trade when it comes to content. People want to support others who create value in their day. NOSTR brings that to fruition.

How do you know how many views Nostr videos get?
It depends. There we have views, here we have more substantial interaction, replies, users very much interested in our mission.
But somehow we noticed that zapping is dying. Popular (!) posts can have 50 likes, 4 reposts but only 35 sats received...
That was supposed to be different.
