Havent seen a killer feature over bitwarden, but for noobs or people who want the simplicity of everything being proton, i see the appeal
The hide my email feature is one over bitwarden. I also think the UX of proton is slightly better.
No desktop app and no self hosting is a downgrade. I don’t fully trust browser extensions
The SimpleLogin/Bitwarden flow isn't ideal, but certainly manageable for now. Depending on how smooth it becomes with Proton Pass, it might be enough of a reason to make the switch. Gonna need some solid native apps though.
It seems like having a new real competitor (proton) has lit a fire under the Bitwarden devs' collective ass. Hoping competition improves both
