Where is this place where you can’t get a legit Bitaxe, and how do we fix that?

Well, the world is a big place.

I would say making the Bitaxe more DIY friendly and maybe more manufacturer friendly will probably help. I know for sure I would have built one myself, if I could. And would build it for friends and family.

The Lucky Miner contributes to the goal of decentralising the hashrate, I believe, but I would still prefer the Bitaxe since it's easier to unbrick and probably quieter, among other things. However, the Lucky Miner looks more like a "product".

Changing the design to be mechanically and maybe electrically compatible with the RPi 5, since RPi and its accessories are generally more available would be a good start, I guess.

Maybe changing the design to use a small daughterboard for the ASIC that is easy to ship anywhere in regular mail, and making the rest of the design soldering iron friendly would also help. There might be a way to make the ASIC upgradeable by itself that way, also.

Just my 2 sats.

PS: thank you for making the Bitaxe!
