Just to name a few favorites of many.
What kind of genres do you like?
Some of my favs are Ouran High School Host Club, Natsume Yuujinchou Book of Friends, Apothecary Diaries, Kakuriyo Bed & Breakfast for Spirits, Cowboy Bebop, Holmes of Kyoto, Snow White with the Red Hair, The Irregular at Magic High School.
Blue-Eyed Samurai is a Netflix production, but similar in feel to anime.
Vinland saga
Ya, I gotta check that one out. It's the Vikings right!? I saw the preview again last night
Yes, about vikings invading england. I have to warn you, first season is what you expect af an anime, but second season is maybe... "too original". In any case I think is worthy to see it
I'm watching it now. About halfway season 2.
But I wouldn't place it in my top 5 anime..
I've mentioned because it is original.
At some point you get tired to ser animes about a young boy with a special talent fighting stronger foes in an orderly manner, while convincing some of them to join him innhis quest.
I am not saying that dragon ball, naruto, full metal alchemist.. aren't great but they sare too many common resources and from time to time I enjoy seeing something different
Vinland saga seems to be the same but season 2 is something completly different
These were my jam back in college:
Yuyu Hakusho (Classic shonen, dudes fighting ghosts and demons)
Gurren Lagann (Another shonen, makes you want to do the impossible)
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Gag anime but with more dark humor)
Orb: on the movements of the earth!
