$1,200 here 😣 that’s impossible

Wtf!? Where do you live? Looking at $600 here.

And I guess you are talking about gen 5, I’m talking about gen 3 here in Argentina. It’s almost twice my salary.

Ugh that sucks, even if you could afford it, what are gun laws like in Argentina?

You can have a gun to self defense at home and go to a shooting range with the gun unloaded.

Phenomenal firearm. Not my first choice cuz to me it feels like holding a brick

Actually I never tried it. I just saw YouTube reviews. What do you prefer?

I carry a Smith & Wesson Shield compact

I love them. I used a Gen 3 for years. I have a Gen 5 MOS now and it's great.

I don't like the finger grips, the grip angle, the trigger, and the MOS system.

But, it's really, really reliable and parts can be found to fix it pretty much anywhere in the world.

Actually I never tried. But it’s just a dream. What do you prefer?

S&W M&P 2.0 Compact, the Springfield Echelon, or, like I did, building my own, though that's not exactly easy for you to do there.

Wow that’s awesome!

What do you think of the FN SCAR 20 in 6.5 Creedmore?

I've not shot or handled a SCAR. I have some issues with the design and the recoil impulse is deadly to many optics, so, it's just really expensive. I think there are better options to build an AR10-style rifle chambered in 6.5CM or, I might be pursuaded to buy a Robinson And XCR-M chambered in that, plus you can get quick change barrels for many other calibers.

I hope that's a little bit helpful.

Very helpful. I’ve always preferred the AK platform to the AR, but wish there were more calibers available in the AK platform. I’ve avoided semi-automatic everything for many years preferring revolvers and lever actions for reliability reasons, but increasingly I’m thinking it’s time to have a tactical medium range and long range assault rifle and a pallet of ammo for each. Maybe .300 blackout subsonic with suppressor/thermal optics and 6.5 CM with a 6x-9x. The 6.8 cartridges are interesting no?

If you like AKs, 300blk is a really good round. Also, the Robinson Arms rifles are part AK, too. Really interesting design.

I kinda get the reliability thing, but, modern self-loading stuff is pretty darn reliable and accurate. And, you do get expanded capabilities over more traditional choices. Your reasoning is very sound. It will be interesting to see what you come up with.

Personally, I’m a Walther PDP or Stacato fan.

Great! I just saw your answer because this App didn’t show me your reply. I’m newbie so I’ll check those out.

I find holding a Block uncomfortable, and shooting it even worse

What do you prefer?

CZ

Used to be a well-kept and affordable secret...

Thank you! I’ll check it out

Great all around size. My edc is actually the 26 which is smaller, but I use glock 19 mags as my spare mag. I normally carry with a +2 baseplate, so I'm at 12+1 and can get a full grip. Thinking of getting a Glock 30s which is in 45acp. Sorry to hear about pricing down there. I'm sure it's all tax to keep people from buying them.

Awesome! I’d love to have one but no money for that, just a dream by now, actually I’ve never shoot one #Glock , I just saw youtube videos and I love it 😍 but some people don’t like them. I hope to test it soon.
