Actually, that's not quite right. We celebrate Christmas like everyone else, but December 25 in the Julian calendar is January 7 in the Gregorian calendar.
In a secular sense, this absolutely kills the holiday and its commercial spirit, which is why it is popular mostly only among people of faith.
