At one point I thought I wanted to keep some of my saving in fiat instead of bitcoin, that way I could dip into my savings without feeling bad about it

Then I realized that’s the whole point.

Bitcoin reframes what is worth spending money on. If you wouldn’t use sats to buy it, you shouldn’t be buying it.
