I just spent 2 hours on a teams call telling an old coworker of mine (they're my client now) how to set up a VM I need them to run. I could not take control of his screen and had to send terminal commands in the chat.

Somehow, I was in my happy place. My backup career path is 100% IT/DevOps. I can do that shit all day easily.

Haha for real. We're just trying to get something set up on one of their local engineering servers while their IT department continues to drag their heels on giving us cloud infrastructure.
