Trying to upgrade my mobile sovereignty. I’ve heard pretty unanimously that a pixel + grapheneOS is the way but I’m pretty ignorant after that regarding carrier options. Buy, for cash, a pixel and put #GrapheneOS on it. Then get #Silent.link esim. Your identity will not be attached to the phone. Use #IVPN too

If I’m understanding the silent.link options correctly, it says only inbound calls/texts are available. Is that right or am i a dum dum?

Depends. They have an option that gives a US number. Unless that's finished. You can use it to call out using VoIP or through telegram or WhatsApp.

Is it possible to perform all outgoing calls through simplex.chat? Can you call regular phone numbers or only contacts within simplex.chat?

No, there are no identifiers on simplex.
