This is a great explanation on the psychological differences between how much you give a shit how money is spent depending on the level of stakes you have in the game. nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev you always break things down in such a simple and digestible way

yes one of my favourites, my wife refuses to understand it. She starts argueing wit ME in the middle of the clip 😞
Hahaha people will get it in their own time, a lot of unwinding of previous beliefs needs to be undone. Let me guess, it’s the stuff to do with how the government spends money that strike a cord?
yes, in the EU there is a very strong safety net for people: jobloss, healthcare and a lot of benefits for being a mother.
for her that is absolutely good, it distorts all reality and I am not articulate enough to debate it sadly.
Yeah that’s the trap unfortunately. It seems like a good cause and immediately helpful on the surface yet the cost is a hidden and lethal poison. It’s similar to a mouse trap with a nice piece of “free” food but hidden inside is a lethal poison that will kill you so painfully slow that you don’t even associate that pain to it’s original source
they vote for it, they get mad if you suggest otherwise. I guess I should just stay humble, stack sats and mind my own business
There is no arguing with it because you can easily deduce it with the mildest introspection. But show her this version if she needs a visual:
I never get tired of this. it is brillian, thanks.
We have to share this en masse!
This is a perfect clip for sharing with normies, thank you!
Do you have a central location with all your 2sats videos? I’ve come across them here and there but never found where the collection is
YouTube and Rumble, but I need to figure out how to separate that series in a useful way
Perfect I’ll check them out there. They’re fantastic videos so if you could create a library or playlist somehow that’s easy to share so people can browse the topics that interest them it would be an incredible resource. Good luck with solving this problem!
Shared this very video with the in-laws this past weekend. They loved how clearly, concisely, and comically you broke this down.
Then my father-in-law proceeded to tell me how air-dropping $5k to everyone would make prices go down by "stimulating the economy." 🤦♂️
