If you crush it sometimes you get unexpected magnetic effects between the tiny bits I will have to post it at some point

Uploaded one where I was moving the biochar with magnet 🙂. Not quite the same thing I was talking about but still pretty interesting.

Apparently biochar and possibly small rocks become paramagnetic when its burned. Another benefit of biochar.

Yes 🙂apparently soaking it in iron sulphate can help that but I find the kiln flakes off iron to add to it anyway, quenched this lot with bokashi too so its meant to be emitting infrared! Bit harder to see the effects of at the moment though.
