To be fair, judging an entire demographic on the choices of one individual isnt promoting freedom.
Yes, but this is not an isolated case. It is difficult to get trans crimes separated out from LGBTQ or general population but when they do, the numbers are stark:
To be fair, its a state taken from a criminal population. This doesn’t represent the general population who have a higher moral code of ethics. But yeah its higher then id imagine.
Im coming from a philosophical perspective that we want to judge an inivdual based on the actions and values of that individual alone.
I understand that and from a legal perspective this is obviously how it should work, but if we choose not to notice patterns in real life they can have dire consequences. If you had two neighbours, one a natural born female and the other a trans woman and you knew nothing else about them except these statistics and needed someone to mind your child would you seriously weigh these two potential child minders equally?
I wouldn’t be leaving my kids alone with anyone i didn’t know personally, unless they had credentials and references.
