I also selfishly want a version of wot-relay that ALLOWS for anyone in your web of trust to post to it, but only imports and archives notes from those you follow.

I donāt have commit access to wot-relay and donāt want to fork it either, but this sounds like a good fit for Haven as well. An optional āfrenā relay with notes written or imported from other relays according to the relay owner kind 3. It could be a nice experience with relay clients like Jumble, Nosotros, etc. Could you please open an issue so I donāt forget about it?
