I did my research. It's not non sense, it looks sus as fuck.
No one knows/recommends/uses Riseup VPN. Their logo looks like something a child would draw. Their website is ridiculous, amateurish and outdated. The 'System Updates' on their frontpage hasn't been updated in 2 years. Their 'About us' page has a team members with descriptions such as "(...)she doesn’t hesitate to use her abilities and radical spirit to fight rich people, men, meat eaters, fascists, monogamy(...)".
I would NEVER turn off my VPN to use that shit.
Headquarters on USA. Logo with Antifa colors and LGBTQ rainbow color. Team members with radical leftist views. đźš©
If my memory doesn’t trick me, riseup as an organization (not just some members ) did advocate for a communist revolution in south america.
I think they have been around for years and something do with the VPN from Calyx.
Maybe they have been been around before you came in this world. It is the same organization if you ever used Tails OS.
can you be more specific about the VPN part? Do all VPN work? In theory or in the current ecosystem?
Not every one considers Riseup to be trustworthy. Forcing users to use services they don’t trust is not appealing.
You don't need to use VPN if you don't like. Use Tor.
I like VPN.
I guess this evasion of answering my question is an answer, too.
Why do you force VPN users to use a specific VPN?
