Meet Bobcat! Bobcat is a veteran Male Lion. He has a very close bond with Kevin and is distinguishable by his distinctive Black Mane. He is in fabulous condition and looks far younger than his age. He currently is living at the Kevin Richardson Lion Sanctuary and has know Kevin since he was a cub therefore having a special bond. 🦁

Kevin has 19 rescue lions in his care, he respects they and knows them incredibly well. He has been an expert on lions for over 30 years, he no longer believes lions should interact with humans on this level.

Respect to Kevin. But a wild animal is a wild animal and we shouldn’t expect anything else. 30 years to befriend lions and 30 seconds to turn into dinner

💯 animals act on instinct, even if trained or domesticated. Plenty of stories of beloved family dog attacking newborns.
