I have been on nostr for at least a year and a half and have dunked on several people and government agencies and yet I still do not have a badge.

I do not understand where the badges come from.

Oh, in Nostrudel you can click on a badge in a profile and see who made it.

Badges come from third party websites. You make them yourself & the site will make a random npub that gives it to you.
