Sadly I don’t think they’ll give us a choice. At first it will be voluntary but eventually you will be compelled to sign up.

I figure tax returns are the perfect way to hook people. At first it will be “sign up for #FedNow to receive your tax returns quicker” and then it will be “sign up for FedNow or you won’t get your tax returns.”
