I know quite a few normies who at least know the CBDCs are possibly coming. They just don’t see bitcoin as the solution. Not sure what they’ll do
Well at least a lot of normies in my circle don’t even know what a CBDC is. They are totally not interested in money whatsoever and just believe everything authorities say… really worrisome
Sadly I don’t think they’ll give us a choice. At first it will be voluntary but eventually you will be compelled to sign up.
I figure tax returns are the perfect way to hook people. At first it will be “sign up for #FedNow to receive your tax returns quicker” and then it will be “sign up for FedNow or you won’t get your tax returns.”

Anything to do with the government make it as hard as possible for them. Be just like the DMV.
From what I understand, it will be an inter-banking backend database for faster clearing. Your fiat bank will sign up for it without asking their customers.
If you want to have a say what happens with your money, you need 100% custody.
