Spent fuel can be recycled.
If we want to go that route, the raw materials needed to make solar panels and wind turbines is finite as well and a lot of that cannot be recycled -- we're burying shit all over the country.

True, the uranium, sun and wind are the fuels. The reactor, solar panels and windmills are tools to convert.
