Was running into this today. Anyone got a good workaround? I'd pay for it if they weren't such fucking censoring scumbags.

Yeah my YouTube was super slow. I’m using Microsoft edge and downloaded ublock and it seems to be way better.

I use yewtu.be (invidous), you can also use piped if you can find a good instance (I didn't found it yet).

In my phone I'm using NewPipe

There is a NewPipe with sponsorblock support, but is not maintained by the same team.

Invidious has definitely slowed down for me.

I'd be more than happy to pay for ad-free and censorship-free youtube content a la cart. I dropped premium when they jacked it up a year ago.

You can get it much cheaper with a VPN, connect to a server in Nigeria.
