While I don’t disagree, I think the argument can also be made that Guiding Principle(s) is also a Formula.

They are both codifications.

One theoretically is more rigid than the other; yet both produce a desired end result when adhered to.

Would I rather operate from guidelines as they allow for more adaptability; yes.

But that’s just my formula… 😉
