Working on extending the bitchat mesh to wifi. We just routed a packet from Bluetooth to Wifi and vice versa.
Android supports peer-to-peer wifi connections with high bandwidth and a better connection strength than Bluetooth.
iOS devices without wifi mesh benefit from this too since packets flow freely and are routed transparently between transport layers, whether that's Bluetooth or wifi. The possibilities are endless.

Could TCP/IP be a transport?
TCP/IP (on nostr) is already used as the transport for public geohash channels and DM, afaik.
