It’s scary to think that major proportion of Lightning network is running on to of SQLite without replication or real time backup. It’s basically storing large part of the network value on a single disk (some mirror) with semi-regular backup of the state. 🐶🐾🤯

I thought lnd had its own database format or is it still basically SQLite? Not that it necessarily makes it any better.. I agree though that the whole backup situation for Lightning is shit, and db replication is probably too difficult/resource intensive for a lot of people..
