But he said that over 200 years ago. Back then you were lucky if you could fire 3 shots a minute with a riffle. Weapons were different now and so is the governance of the entire country. Just because something used to be true doesn’t mean it will always be true.
What I hear when people argue for the right to bear arms is
“I don’t care how many mass shootings there are, I don’t care how many children die; It’s more important that everyone has the right to carry a gun just in case at some point in the future we need to overthrow the government.”
Yeah and the US government is not the same as it was 300 years ago, their military goals and equipment are also not the same as they used to be 300 years ago so thank goodness we have more than just a rifle to defend ourselves.

It’s literally talking about this “I don’t care..” comment you just made. I do care, I care a lot and I understand how as well as why many of these school shooting happen. If you are not a US citizen and not living through this you might not see the image as clear. But I ask you to re read the last part and re consider “what if those words are true.”
I don’t argue that every person should have a gun. I argue that every mentally healthy person, who has proper training, and proper security is allowed this right.
I am pro freedom, but with freedom comes responsibility. Some people don’t want responsibility put on them and those are usually the ones that stick with a bank because it’s easier than having to be responsible for 12-24 words. Nothing wrong with it, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
I am pro freedom- I did not get vaccinated, but I was responsible and did not eat any processed sugars or carbs for 2 years (2020-2022).
I am pro freedom - I support the second amendment, but I have proper training, I am mentally and physically fit, and I have proper storage / safety precautions.

And yet civilians can own "assault pools" and "insects of mass pollination". Good luck to anyone using their assault pool to deter the security forces from supporting a dictator...
