Yeah, it’s quite the rabbit hole.

Basically seed oils are industrially created fats that were originally made for factory machine lubrication because it was so much cheaper than animal fats (or even olives)

And now they’re used in just about anything we eat. Because they’re so cheap.

But they are extremely unstable and unhealthy. Once they come in contact with oxygen they become poisonous and when our bodies try to burn them we feel sick and tired.

Which is why they are linked to all kinds of medical ailments that have skyrocketed since the early 70’s when their use became widespread. (Notice how people in old pictures look so much healthier?)

I remember a burger place I went to on my university campus. Everyone went because they were so cheap like £2.50 for cheese burger. The burger place proudly bragged about cooking everything in peanut oil and that it was environmentally friendly. I wonder how much damage that burger place did to my health.

They sell them here as “plant oils”, which makes them sound all healthy and conscious.

Luckily our bodies have excellent regeneration abilities 👌
