Replying to Avatar Misty

I'm trying to read different docs, but I'm not fully understanding what I'm reading.

There's Alby, GetAlby, an Alby Chrome extension, AlbyHub, a node, a wallet, an open channel that has spending and savings, hooked up apps, each with a spending limit, but I have to buy another channel of something to receive payments? I subscribed to a cloud plan of some kind, but I don't know what place that's coming out of.

I think I have everything linked together right, but something is telling me I don't.

I clicked like on a post, but the heart didn't stay lit.

I'm signed in, but I'm not sure if this will post. (It didn't the first time I tried.)

I'm feeling a little lost.

I spent about 4 hours yesterday getting setup, saving keys, buying Bitcoin, but I still don't understand everything.

Where can I go to see the relationships between all the "things" in complete newbie speak?

I want to make sure I understand and that I'm doing things in a way that won't wreck anything important.

First of all, what nostr client are you using? Something on desktop or mobile? If desktop, is it Primal or something else?

Regarding "Alby, GetAlby, an Alby Chrome extension" they're all the same. Alby is the Lightning service, getalby.com its domain name and with the extension you can handle your Lightning payments (pay, receive) and your Nostr logins, if you added your Nostr private key to it. With that, you can login to every Nostr client without having to enter your secret key to the client directly. Then Alby does that for you. But you have to choose "Login with Extension" at each client or similar.

You probably only have a Lightning address (technically it is not a "wallet") from Alby which you can add to your profile in a Nostr client and then you can zap and get zapped. All the other stuff (which I don't understand tbh), I don't know what you've setup but it's definitaly not necessary to use Nostr.
