Yes, went 2yrs. I remember we moved out of the inlaws into our own place, after a cross country move, and just enjoyed each other.
That being said we are on the younger side of our kids cohorts now. I feel & see I am younger than most.
My dads advice seems the best: there is not right time to have kids, because its never the right time. Just gotta do it, you will figure it out.

My wife also miscarried on our first go round which was a massive blow to everything and took time.
Sucks but honestly I hear that so often unfortunately ☹️
If you have bitcoin, have kids now, you will be able to afford it . I started at 30 and that is a bit late, if i had bought bitcoin, I would have had more kids, younger. I hope I give my kids that opportunity
