it's definitely a struggle for those who prefer niche content. discovery is rough and it's been an ongoing issue for awhile.

personally, i don't always have the time to closely follow my feed so i miss a lot of things, but the trending feeds are generally useless too so...

my guess is that it hasn't been resolved because it's the content most devs and influential users want to see. in other words, they don't see it as a problem.
