I still think it's better to check the addresses on a Cold Card that you plug into a 9v battery, but I realize most people will not do this.

Have you seen protonmail's new wallet? It allows you to send bitcoin to an email address. I wonder if something like that could be used to verify addresses in combination with a white list? 🤔

I don't know yet, but it's fun to think about this stuff.
