I recently got into making my own fancy extracts. This one is shaping up nicely. Cost wise I’m probably $30 into this bottle, but at least I have a shitload of vanilla extract lol 
I’ve done this for 3 years, highly recommend it. When you need more, just add some more vanilla beans and top off the vodka.

You can buy 10x as many online for the price of one in the store. I guess you just pay the stupidity tax for buying it in person.
