It's a open source media host.
Only you can store media?
That's how it's set now on mine, but you can run public ones too where anyone can upload or people you approve, that's what Olas/Primal use a lot
And why do you need it when there's nostr.build

I'm using Chevereto image and video hosting software to host my own media. I like it because you can manage everything easily and the developer is actively involved in developing it.
I'm tired of all these open source projects that are slow to get upgrades. I prefer paying for software.
