Some folks complain about the lack of topical news content on nostr. Explosions are cool looking and all but honestly I'd rather not see any more pictures of dead children. So they can go back to X, I'll stay here with the artists and homesteaders.

Also, maybe the lack of news on nostr reflect the image of the users.

I don't think most of us care about "the news" as much as we do our families and communities.
Once a month I get like 5 minutes of clown world news. I know, I'm still addicted probably. One day tho... 🙏🏻
