🐸💸💪 #BitcoinOnly #NoToFiat

To clarify that's 25k sats for each, not all.

Alright, let's do it.

Transistor is a really cool app. I liked it.

I am interested

How I can get in

The bounty idea is cool! I don't know what you mean by "packaging" however. It's relatively easy to get the APKs but the harder part is indexing for updates - not sure how a third party can do this yet. It would be 25k and maintain it forever?

For some reason Calendar and Pass are hard to scrape, I will check how Obtainium is doing it.

As for Codeberg, I'll support it in zapstore CLI so those can be indexed.

This kind of things will be part of Zapstore Premium, when it arrives.

Tells you what I know. 😅 I assume there's metadata around the APK? I was thinking packages as in .deb, AUR, etc.

My thinking was 25k (I'm open to go higher) to get it "packaged", then there are ongoing zaps to the maintainer/developer. Maybe that's not the right approach if there's heavy lifting to keep it indexed?

There is metadata alongside the APK (as nostr events) but there is no wrapping. The hash is checked on the original APK.

The heavy part is finding where exactly they publish, Proton is inconsistent AF. And then keep checking for updates - provided they don't move things around. Thats why Github/Gitlab are easy, they are predictable and accessible via API.

I just found Pass on Fdroid, so its indexed now.

Searched for Calendar on Obtainium, I only see garbage. Can you share which source you got it from in Obtainium?

Got it.

Proton does a garbage job of this, no doubt.

Calendar seems to be the worst, as it's a static URL, so Obtainium flails away.

From here: https://proton.me/calendar/download

You'll see this: https://protonmail.com/download/CalendarAndroid/ProtonCalendar-Android.apk

Just indexed:

- Proton Pass

- Tailscale

- Comaps

- Goguma

- Transistor

- YAM Launcher

Trying Proton Calendar, but can't promise
