It's highly likely that the lack of a voting feature is due to the concern about Sybil attacks, especially since creating accounts on Nostr is free.

If Wot were used as a solution, the fact that each person would see different results makes it hard to consider it good UX. I think

Just extend it enough hops to cover a large number of active users while preventing obviously fake accts

Who is going to bother doing that now on polls which are mostly just for fun?

We have polls on amethyst you have to vote with sats. No one bothers to use them cos the mechanism is stupid.

5 years without polls because they need to be election-ready. Nostr has 24 users lolcry

Yeah, having to pay just doesn't feel right.
