After a bunch of faffing about in the morning yesterday I managed to get the turkeys moved. They have gotten large enough that the little brooder hut was just getting to be too small. The hen and chicks in the pallet hut seemed like they were going to be okay out on their own so I ushered them out and cleaned the hut out. I had to haul 5 wheelbarrows of shit across the farm but did get the hut cleaned nicely. Wood chips then shavings, feed and water, then they all got dropped in. They were nice and happy and huddled together beneath the light when I went out to close the coop.
