I prefer the term enclosed earth. “Flat Earth” has been captured a long time ago by the fake flat earth society. Enclosed earth for the win.
I’ve got most of Nostr upset about the shape of the Earth.
While many users on Nostr are Bitcoiners, let's not forget that so many of them have taken the fake vaccine, boosters, and flu shots, trusting pharmaceutical companies more than their own ability to critically think.
Flat Earth is, in my opinion, one of the best tests for someone’s ability to think critically. Unfortunately, most people fail it. They experience cognitive dissonance and go straight into attack mode when the topic is brought up.
Just because someone is a Bitcoiner doesn’t mean they automatically possess independent, logical thought.

yes, you are right. I infiltrated the flat earth society in microphone voice group rooms in the past and I learned their tactics. They pretty much make themselves act and look crazy so when a curious person comes into the room to ask questions about it. They purposely act crazy and insane which causes the curious person to leave quickly and think flat earthers are crazy. The flat earth society is definitely funded by big money on purpose.
Flat Earth was captured because it was gaining traction but if people started using enclosed earth from the beginning. They would of captured the enclosed earth too. *f enclosed earth gets popular the flat earth society will go after encloses earth.
We can try to change the name again and again but a better solution is just to keep educating people.
I hear ya. One other thing is that flat earth puts the image of a flat disc in space, which is not what flat earth is. This is what I first thought it was. We were conditioned to think that from who knows where. Describing it as enclosed doesn’t prompt the flat disc in space image. Enclosed is more of the biblical idea of God separating the waters and putting earth in between.
