Yes it's a valueless shitcoin for developers to play with so they need not put real funds at risk when engineering bitcoin software.

Any pointers to tutorials on setting up a lightning node on testnet? Given how high fees are right now, I need to stop doing my experimenting on-chain. 😆

Should be the same as mainnet, you just have to set your node's to use the testnet network in their configs.

The trickier part would be finding lightweight lightning wallets that support testnet.

But I do want testnet and not signet, right? Main goal is to test out ansible config for running a node. Don't care as much about wallets.
