Listening to a book and an author seems to believe that being paid or offered a monetary reward puts the person being paid in a lower status position.
Never in my life have I felt that being paid for something made me low status... Wtf is wrong with people?
I’ll bet he wouldnt feel that way if he got a million dollar book deal.
